Former Bharatpur Mayor Renu Dahal Invited as Speaker to Prestigious 'NXT Summit 2026' in New Delhi

Kathmandu. Former Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal, is set to participate as a speaker at the prestigious 'NXT Summit 2026' to be held in New Delhi, India. Member of Parliament of the Rajya Sabha of the Indian Parliament, Kartikeya Sharma, sent an official invitation letter to Dahal, inviting her as a distinguished speaker at the conference.

This grand conference, scheduled to take place on March 12, 13, and 14 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, will bring together policymakers, intellectuals, and political leaders from around the world. The summit, which is a focus of interest for the Government of India and various international organizations, is scheduled to be addressed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest.

Furthermore, former Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison, will be present as an honored guest at the summit. High-ranking officials, including India's Minister of State for Railways and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, are also scheduled to present their views at the event.

India aims to develop this summit as an annual calendar event for global brainstorming. This edition will feature participation from professors and students from the top 25 universities in the world, such as Harvard, MIT, Oxford, and Stanford, along with parliamentarians from more than 30 countries. Organizers have stated that renowned physicist Dr. Brian Greene will also participate in the special session on science and technology, NXT in Science.
