Ujyalo Nepal Party Chair Kulman Ghising Stresses Focus on Governance and Economic Prosperity in New Government

Kathmandu. Kulman Ghising, Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, has emphasized that the upcoming new government must focus on fulfilling the people's aspirations for change and economic prosperity while establishing good governance in the country.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Chairman Ghising thanked the voters, supporters, and well-wishers who voted for his party in the elections. He stated that his party would support the good work done by the new government and would continue to provide constructive oversight from the streets if wrongdoings occur. He mentioned that the defeat in the election is merely a technical matter, and instead of being disheartened by the results, he expressed commitment to moving forward even more strongly in the campaign to build a 'Ujyalo Nepal' (Bright Nepal).

Chairman Ghising also extended his gratitude to the Prime Minister, members of the Council of Ministers, security agencies, employees, and all concerned parties for contributing to the successful completion of the elections amidst challenging circumstances.

He said, "We entered the elections with a commitment to deliver work and results. We won the hearts of the people by ending load-shedding, but this time we could not win the votes. However, defeat in the election is only a technical matter; the affection, trust, and goodwill you have shown through the public mandate in a short time have become a great energy and guidance for us."
