Proportional Representation Vote Counting Concludes in Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur. The vote counting for the proportional representation category in Bhaktapur has been completed. A total of 85,772 votes were counted, with 42,440 in Bhaktapur Constituency No. 1 and 43,332 in Constituency No. 2.

According to the results, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured the first position in Constituency No. 1 for proportional representation, garnering 42,440 votes. Nepal Workers' and Peasants' Party (NWPP) received 20,229 votes, informed Bhim BC, the information officer at the District Election Office.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress received 4,403 votes, CPN (UML) received 3,461 votes, CPN (Maoist Centre) received 1,136 votes, RPP received 2,984 votes, Rastriya Parivartan Party received 894 votes, and Shram Sanskriti Party received 550 votes.

In Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2, the counting for the proportional representation category has also concluded. Radhika Suwal, the Returning Officer, informed that the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured 43,332 votes.

Furthermore, the Nepali Congress received 8,778 votes, CPN (UML) received 8,390 votes, NWPP received 3,521 votes, CPN (Maoist Centre) received 1,930 votes, RPP received 2,832 votes, and Shram Sanskriti Party received 1,075 votes.

Information Officer Bhim BC stated that out of a total of 107,054 registered voters in Bhaktapur Constituency No. 1, 76,761 votes were cast, while in Constituency No. 2, out of 98,356 registered voters, 72,761 votes were cast.
