Rastriya Swatantra Party Leads in Baglung Proportional Vote Count

Baglung. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which won both constituencies in Baglung for the House of Representatives, has also taken the lead in the proportional representation vote count.

According to the vote counting completed on Sunday evening, the RSP secured a total of 37,123 votes, with 22,859 in Constituency No. 1 and 14,264 in Constituency No. 2.

The Nepali Congress came in second place. The Congress received a total of 21,495 votes, with 10,185 in Constituency No. 1 and 11,310 in Constituency No. 2.

CPN-UML is in third place. CPN-UML garnered a total of 14,159 votes, with 7,147 in Constituency No. 1 and 7,012 in Constituency No. 2.

The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) is in fourth place. CPN received a total of 9,113 votes, with 1,919 in Constituency No. 1 and 7,194 in Constituency No. 2.

The Rastriya Janamorcha received a total of 6,835 votes, with 3,597 in Constituency No. 1 and 3,238 in Constituency No. 2.

The RPP received only 1,217 votes in total, with 943 in Constituency No. 1 and 274 in Constituency No. 2. The Shram Sanskriti Party received 1,405 votes.

In the direct elections, Sushil Khadka was victorious in Baglung-1 and Som Sharma in Constituency No. 2.
