Nepal Communist Party (United) Calls for Reorganization and Renaissance of Communist Movement

Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (United) has appealed to discuss, organize, and take necessary initiatives for the broad reorganization, unification, and renaissance of the communist movement. Acting Chairman Ghanshyam Bhusal announced that this decision was made during the extended meeting of the party's Election Mobilization Committee and Secretariat held on Sunday.

In a statement issued after the meeting, Bhusal extended congratulations to the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for its success in the democratic elections. Furthermore, the party wished success to the RSP in implementing the aspirations for democratic stability, national independence, and the prosperity of the people.

“We are all aware of the interest and concern among the general public and cadres regarding the necessity of reorganizing, unifying, and reviving the communist movement,” stated the CPN (United). “In this situation, our party calls upon all communists across the country to be particularly serious about preserving and advancing the glory of the communist movement.”

To achieve this, the party has also made a heartfelt appeal to all concerned parties to conduct an objective review of the past, openly self-criticize shortcomings, and to discuss, organize, and take necessary initiatives for the broad reorganization, unification, and renaissance of the communist movement.
