Rastriya Swatantra Party Takes Lead in Gandaki Province Election Results, Securing Three Seats So Far

Pokhara. The results for 5 seats in Gandaki Province have been finalized so far. The final results for 2 seats in Kaski, 1 in Syangja, and the results from Manang and Mustang have been made public. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in this count. Three RSP candidates have emerged victorious, while two Congress candidates have won.

RSP secured victories in Kaski 2 and 3, and Syangja 1. Uttam Prasad Poudel won in Kaski 2, Bina Gurung in Kaski 3, and Dhananjay Regmi in Syangja 1. These three candidates won by a large margin. CPN-UML finished as the second party in Kaski 2, while Congress finished second in the other two constituencies.

Similarly, Yogesh Gauchan won in Mustang, and Tek Bahadur Gurung won in Manang. In Mustang, the CPN-UML candidate finished second, and in Manang, the candidate from the Nepal Communist Party finished second. Counting has not yet begun for Gorkha 1. RSP is leading in most of the remaining 12 constituencies.
