Washington D.C. The US military has claimed to have targeted an Iranian drone-carrying vessel. The US Central Command (CENTCOM), which oversees the Middle East region, provided this information in a post on the social media platform X on Thursday, March 5.

CENTCOM stated in the post, 'The US military is not backing down from the mission to completely sink the Iranian navy. Today, a strike was carried out on an Iranian drone carrier, the size of a World War II aircraft carrier, and it is currently on fire.'
