Voter Turnout Reaches 29% in Tanahun Constituency Elections

Tanahun. So far, 29 percent of voters have cast their ballots in the House of Representatives elections in Tanahun.

District Election Officer Bikash Lamsal informed Ratopati that 29.9 percent of the total votes were cast across both constituencies.

Tanahun has 254,397 registered voters. There are 130,906 female voters and 123,491 male voters.

A total of 144 polling stations have been designated for the House of Representatives election in Tanahun. There are 311 polling centers, including 2 temporary ones. Eight polling centers have been listed as 'highly sensitive'.

Tanahun-1 has 69 polling stations. In this constituency, 155 polling centers have been established, including two temporary ones. Sixteen candidates, including three women, are competing in this constituency. A total of 126,882 voters, comprising 65,104 women and 61,778 men, will cast their votes in this area.

Tanahun-2 has 127,515 voters, consisting of 65,802 women and 61,713 men. Seventy-five polling stations and 156 polling centers have been established. Eleven candidates, including one woman, are competing from Tanahun-2.
