Bhaktapur District Administration Grants Police Five Days to Investigate Medical Entrepreneur Durga Prasai

Kathmandu. The District Administration Office, Bhaktapur, has permitted the police to detain medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai in custody for five days for investigation.

SP Surya Khadka of Bhaktapur informed Ratopati that the administration has allowed the police to hold Prasai, the coordinator of the Campaign to Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizens, in custody for five days for investigation.

The police arrested him on Sunday morning and presented him before the District Administration Office, Bhaktapur. The police are investigating him on charges related to disturbing public peace.

Previously, he was released on February 26 (Falgun 13) following an order from the Supreme Court. Recently, the administration has been arresting him on suspicion of playing a role in disrupting the elections, only for him to be released by court orders.
