Oil Tanker Attacked Off Coast of Oman, Crew Rescued

Muscat. Oman's Maritime Security Centre announced on Sunday that an oil tanker was attacked off the coast of Oman. The security center stated that the attack on the oil tanker occurred approximately five nautical miles off the coast of Musandam.

Four people were injured in the incident, and the 20-member crew was safely rescued. The vessel, named Skylight, was operating under the flag of Palau, an island nation in the Western Pacific region.

According to the Maritime Security Centre, the rescue operation was carried out by the Omani Navy and military forces. This reflects the national readiness to deal with incidents at sea.
