Prachanda Denies Efforts to Ensure Renu Dahal's Victory in Chitwan-3

Kathmandu. CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has stated that no efforts were made to ensure the victory of Renu Dahal in Chitwan-3. Addressing a press conference at the central office in Paris Danda on Thursday, he dismissed rumors that efforts were underway to secure Renu's win.

‘The claim that efforts are being made to ensure Renu Dahal's victory in Chitwan-3 is absolutely untrue. I want to reject such allegations. I have not issued any statement. I have not made any efforts for an alliance. However, I feel that Renu should win based on the nine years of hard work she has put in. If that doesn't happen, it feels like an injustice to me and Renu,’ he said.
