Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to Visit India from February 27 to March 2

New Delhi. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is coming on an official visit to India from February 27 to March 2. Confirming this news, the Ministry of External Affairs of India issued a statement. The statement said that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be Prime Minister Carney's first official visit to India.

The Ministry of External Affairs statement mentioned that Carney will arrive in Mumbai on February 27. Over the next two days, he will participate in various business programs and meet with India-Canadian CEOs, industry and finance experts, innovators, academics, as well as representatives of Canadian pension funds present in India. Carney will travel to New Delhi on March 1.

On March 2, the Prime Ministers of both countries will hold delegation-level talks at Hyderabad House. Both leaders will review the progress made under the India-Canada Strategic Partnership. Furthermore, they will also review cooperation in important sectors such as trade and investment, energy, critical minerals, agriculture, education, research, and people-to-people ties.
