Government to Enhance Security Measures Ahead of Upcoming Federal Elections

Kathmandu. The government is set to further strengthen and make security arrangements more effective, focusing on the upcoming elections for the House of Representatives.

A meeting held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Home Affairs, chaired by the Chairman of the Central Security Committee and Home Minister Omprakash Aryal, decided to increase the reserve force for prompt mobilization from all four security agencies to make security arrangements effective.  

In the meeting, Home Minister Aryal directed all security agencies to work in mutual coordination to ensure flawless security management to make election security effective.

High-ranking officials from all four security agencies were present at the meeting.
