Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising Stresses Good Governance and Results-Oriented Work for Prosperity

Sunsari. Kulman Ghising, Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, stated that sustainable development and prosperity can be achieved by establishing good governance and adopting a results-oriented work style in the country.

Speaking at an election mass meeting organized by the party's Constituency No. 1 Main Election Mobilization Committee on Monday, he said that the focus must now shift from speeches to delivering results through work, and the party has entered the elections recognizing this necessity.

Stressing that water resource management is the main foundation for the country's prosperity, Chairman Ghising emphasized the need to prioritize river and watershed management. He mentioned that since important development sectors such as irrigation, hydropower, tourism, and drinking water are linked to water resource management, he will focus on moving forward with an integrated plan for these areas.

"Many places in the country still lack adequate access to energy. Some areas remain in darkness. Our party has entered the elections believing that an alternative political vision is necessary to expand energy development and distribution systems, end load-shedding, and lead the country towards light," said Chairman Ghising.

Referring to the House of Representatives election scheduled for this coming Falgun 21 as a significant opportunity for national change, he stated that the time has come for the people to responsibly select the right leadership. Chairman Ghising opined that development will gain momentum when the right person is placed in the right position, and capable leadership is essential to lead Nepal from darkness to light.

Chairman Ghising committed that his party will work towards making the country's economy self-reliant only by establishing social justice, ending discrimination and anomalies, building a merit-based society, and creating employment opportunities for the youth within the country.
