Man Rescued Alive After 3.5 Hours from Bus Crash Site in Dhading

Kathmandu. Police have stated that one person was rescued alive after three and a half hours from a bus that met with an accident at Bhaisigouda in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-5, Dhading.

Dhading SP Sumit Khadka told Ratopati that 27-year-old Krishnaraj Manandhar, who was trapped after the passenger bus with registration number Ga 2 Kha 1421 traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu met with an accident on Monday morning, was rescued alive after three and a half hours.

Manandhar, a resident of Imadol, Lalitpur, has been brought to Kathmandu for treatment. SP Khadka informed that he is being treated at the Trauma Center. Security personnel used machinery to cut a part of the bus to extract Khadka, whose leg was trapped.

Nineteen people died in the accident. The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a task force to investigate the incident.
