Passenger Bus Accident in Makwanpur Injures 22 Travelers

Makwanpur. Twenty-two passengers were injured this morning when a passenger bus met with an accident on the road at Bijauana in Manahari Rural Municipality-7, Makwanpur, along the East-West Highway.

District Police Office Makwanpur Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati informed that 22 passengers aboard the passenger bus with registration number BaPra06-001Kha 0054, traveling from Birgunj towards Chitwan, were injured when the bus lost control and struck an electric pole on the left side of the road.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bogati stated that the injured were rescued and sent to Chitwan Hospital for treatment.
