Home Minister Assures Complete Security Arrangements for Upcoming Elections

Kathmandu. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has called on voters to participate fearlessly in the voting process on the upcoming Falgun 21, stating that all necessary security arrangements for the upcoming elections have been finalized.

At the Central Security Committee meeting held on Thursday, Home Minister Aryal stated that since the election will only proceed with tight and reliable security arrangements, he is confident that the election will be completed on the scheduled date with the support, cooperation, and coordination of all concerned agencies.

In the meeting, the heads of all three security agencies and the officials of the District Security Committee informed Home Minister Aryal that all security arrangements were being made and that the district-wise security strategy was being implemented progressively.

According to the Home Minister's Secretariat, the meeting held a detailed discussion regarding the implementation of the Central Election Security Strategy and the overall preparations for the election to be held on Falgun 21. At the meeting, Home Minister Aryal received updates on the implementation of provincial and district-wise security strategies and election preparations from the officials of the Central Security Committee, the Chief Secretaries of all seven provinces, and the Chief District Officers of all 77 districts, along with the officials of the District Security Committee.
