Home Minister Inspects Election Preparations in Kathmandu's Gokarneshwor Area

Kathmandu. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal conducted an on-site inspection of the Sundarijal area, falling under Kathmandu's Constituency No. 3, regarding preparations for the upcoming elections.

While inspecting the polling stations on Wednesday, Minister Aryal stated that the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 will be conducted in a clean, impartial, and fear-free environment.

Home Minister Aryal instructed the election officers to remain vigilant against false, misleading, and propaganda information spread on social media and to focus on preparations in their respective constituencies.

Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, Kathmandu's Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Paudel, Kathmandu Police Chief (SSP) Ramesh Thapa, Home Ministry's Joint Spokesperson Rama Acharya, and Election Officer Chamila Bhattarai accompanied Minister Aryal. The team led by Aryal conducted on-site inspections of the polling center at Gokarneshwor Secondary School, the Sundarijal polling center at Okhreni Secondary School, and the polling center at Saraswati Secondary School in Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, Tokha.

Furthermore, the team accompanying the Minister observed and inspected the man-made pond located inside the Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park.
