Class 12 Examinations to Commence on Baisakh 14, Board Releases Schedule

Bhaktapur. This year's Class 12 examinations are set to begin on Baisakh 14. The National Examination Board has today published the schedule for the examinations covering general, traditional, and technical subject groups for both new and old curricula, as well as for grade increment tests, informed Examination Controller Krishna Sharma.

The examinations will be conducted from 8 AM to 11 AM. The first day of the examination will feature the compulsory English subject test for both new and old courses, along with the grade increment exam. The schedule also indicates that on the same day, exams for Sanskrit Composition (new course), Buddhist Studies, and Urdu Grammar (new course), as well as Compulsory Optional Sanskrit Composition (old course) will take place.

The Board has stated that it will not arrange a re-examination for candidates who are absent during the exams, which are scheduled to conclude on Baisakh 27. The Controller of Examinations office informed that the exams will not be postponed without prior notice from the office in case of any unexpected public holiday falling within the examination schedule.

It was informed that 360,000 regular candidates will participate in the Class 12 exams this year. Last year, 396,347 regular students and 114,640 partial students participated in the Class 12 examinations. Last year, the Class 12 exams started on Baisakh 21 and concluded on Jestha 2.
