Army Chief Directs Inclusion of Nepali History in All Military Training

Kathmandu. Nepali Army Chief of Staff General Ashoke Raj Sigdel has directed that the study of Nepal's history be taught in all military training programs. He issued this directive on Saturday while addressing all ranks of the army at the Army Headquarters on the occasion of Mahashivaratri and the 263rd Army Day.

Chief of Staff Sigdel emphasized that the study and teaching of history in all military training is necessary to introduce Nepal's glorious saga, traditions, and cultures, and to learn from the lessons of history.
