Prime Minister to Present Annual Report of Muslim Commission in National Assembly Session

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to present the 'Annual Report of the Muslim Commission for the Fiscal Year 2080-81' in today's session of the National Assembly. The Parliament Secretariat stated that the potential agenda for the meeting, scheduled for 12:15 PM, includes the Prime Minister presenting this report.

The agenda for the meeting also includes Tulsa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, presenting the 'Study Report on Legislative Inter-relationship Among Federal Units, 2082' and the 'Implementation Assessment Report of Child Participation Provisions in the Children Act, 2075, 2082'.

Maya Prasad Sharma, Chairperson of the Committee on Public Policy and Delegated Legislation, will present a proposal in the meeting to 'Discuss the Study Report on the Immigration Act, 2049 and Delegated Legislation Made Under That Act, 2082'.

The agenda for the meeting includes National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal informing the assembly about the details of the letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the assignment of responsibilities to Cabinet members.

Furthermore, Chairman Dahal will also inform the assembly about the details of the letter received from President Ramchandra Paudel concerning the prorogation of the session.

The President has prorogued the current session of the National Assembly effective from 12:00 AM tonight, based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on Magh 26, pursuant to Article 93 (3) of the Constitution.
