Interim Government PM Sushila Karki Directs Tightened Security for Upcoming Elections

Kathmandu. Interim Government Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed that security arrangements across the country be tightened for the elections. She issued this directive while taking stock of the situation in Koshi Province in Sunsari.

She stated that the election atmosphere is enthusiastic and the preparations by security agencies and the administrative sector are commendable. After conducting an on-site inspection and assessing the situation in districts including Sunsari, Morang, Solukhumbu, and Bhojpur, Karki mentioned that almost all preparations for the voting scheduled for Mangsir 21 are complete. Evaluating the reporting and performance of the Chief District Officers of Sunsari and Morang, Karki noted that significant work has been accomplished in a short time.
