Filming Begins for Nepali Movie 'Kasturi' Starring Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti

Kathmandu. Filming has commenced for the movie 'Kasturi,' featuring Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti in the lead roles. The shooting began Tuesday morning with an auspicious launch ceremony held at the Bangalamukhi Temple in Lalitpur. The principal photography for the film has started in Kathmandu.

Directed by Rita Bohora, the film weaves a narrative exploring deep layers of mystery, suspense, and crime. This project marks the first on-screen collaboration between actor Nikhil Upreti and actress Barsha Siwakoti.

In addition to Nikhil and Barsha, the cast includes Shekhar Chapagain, Nirmal Sharma, Nisha Adhikari, Arjun Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Sabee Thapa, Prashant KC, Santosh Baniya, Subash Banjan, Mira Pandit, Ghanshyam Joshi, Shreya Shrestha, Pratishtha Thapa, Neha Gautam, with special appearances by Gaurav Pahari and Hena NagarKoti.

The film, produced under the banner of Ten Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., has its story written by director Bohora himself. Dhiraj Kumar Agrawal is the producer, and Anjali Chaudhary serves as the co-producer.
