Man Found Dead Near Home in Baitadi District, Nepal

Baitadi. A man has been found dead in Baitadi district. Khadak Bisht, approximately 36 years old, from Dudilakhan, Ward No. 1 of Sigas Rural Municipality in the district, was found dead near his home.

Bisht, who left home on Sunday morning, was discovered by locals this morning lying face down on the path near his house, prompting them to inform the police.

District Police Office Baitadi spokesperson, Police Inspector Suraj Singh, informed that Bisht was found dead on the path below and an investigation into the matter is underway.

Currently, police personnel led by a Police Inspector from the Area Police Office have been deployed to the scene.

According to preliminary investigations, locals stated that since there appear to be bruises on the body, an impartial investigation into the matter must be conducted.
