Late Veteran Artist Sunil Thapa Cremated with National Honors at Pashupati Aryaghat

The funeral rites for the late veteran artist Sunil Thapa were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat. Thapa was bid a final farewell draped in the national flag.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Anil Kumar Sinha honored Thapa's mortal remains by draping the national flag over them.

The minister, along with the Inspector General of Nepal Police and senior artists including Neer Shah and Shambhujeet Baskota, relatives, and well-wishers, paid their last respects to the deceased Thapa at the Aryaghat.

Thapa's son lit the funeral pyre. Thapa is survived by his wife, one son, and one daughter. Thapa passed away on Saturday morning at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali due to a heart attack.
