Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising Stresses Energy Production for Prosperous Nepal

Rajbiraj. Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising stated that energy sector production must be increased to build a prosperous Nepal. Speaking at a press conference organized by the Ujyalo Nepal Party here in Rajbiraj today, he emphasized the necessity of achieving self-reliance in electricity and developing the agricultural sector for economic prosperity.

Ghising claimed that the initiatives and reforms he championed in the energy sector presented an implementable model for Nepal. He mentioned that his experience could be utilized for the overall economic transformation of the country, stating that Nepal could generate income from electricity by producing 30,000 megawatts within 10 years.

“The country can become self-reliant, and the Nepali people can also be in a position to use electricity for free. Sustainable development is not possible without achieving self-reliance in basic sectors such as agriculture, drinking water, employment, and energy; our party is clear on this,” said Chairman Ghising.

He noted that the party is moving forward by keeping the expectations and needs of the people at the center, stating that it will proceed by prioritizing good governance, transparency, and development.
