Director Hails New Film 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling' as a Unique Tale of Motherhood

Director Sudip Bhupal Singh stated that the film 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling' tells a distinct story of a mother. Singh mentioned that the film portrays a mother's desire to build a 'Bukuro' (home), her sons' marriages, and their happiness. He added that the film's depiction of familial affection, reunion, and minor conflicts will offer a different flavor to the audience.

'At a time when social family films are winning the hearts of the audience, we believe that the purely family-oriented story of 'Shree Bukuro' will be well-received,' said Director Singh. 'This is also the story of a mother searching for something before her death.'

The film's trailer has also been released, as it is preparing for screening starting on Falgun 1, coinciding with the Mahashivaratri festival. The trailer focuses on the main character, Laxmi Giri. The nearly 3-minute 33-second trailer takes the audience on a journey along with the character's state of mind and pace.

The previously released teaser and poster for the purely family and entertaining cinema 'Shree Bukuro' have already won the hearts of the audience. The production team expects this song to win the audience's hearts as well.

Besides Laxmi Giri, the film features performances by Ashirwad Chhetri, Laxmi Giri, Nikita Acharya, Pratikraj Acharya, Roshni Karki, Rajan Ishan, Deepika Thapa, Lay Sangraula, Mohan Niroula, Rambabu Regmi, Rashmi Bhatta, Uttam KC, Gita Thapa, Sapana Shrestha, Ashika Shahi, Deepak Karki, and Rajina Bishwakarma. The film is produced by Ruby Sen Singh.

Filming took place in Mustang, Baglung, Kaski, Damuli, Makwanpur, and Kathmandu.
