CPN-UML Vice Chairman Thapa Claims Current Government is Being Exposed for 'Burning the Nation'

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has stated that the current government is increasingly being exposed as one that is burning the nation. Leader Thapa made this statement while addressing a press conference organized at the party office in Chyasal on Wednesday.

"The government that burns the nation and those who burn the nation are being exposed day by day," said Thapa, a former minister. "Patriotic and impartial political analysts are playing a significant role in exposing this. Constitutional experts are also exposing the government from a constitutional perspective."

Thapa claimed that Durga Prasai, one of the stakeholders in the events of Bhadra 23 and 24, has started saying that the government led by Sushila Karki was illegal and imposed. Furthermore, political analysts and intellectuals from both India and China have stated that the movement in Bhadra is being analyzed as a counter-revolution.

He alleged that the government is providing state honors and protection to a representative of the Dalai Lama, who is considered anti-China, at the airport. "The Chinese have been provoked by that incident and have presented two options," Badal said. "Either take action against the anti-China elements, expel them, and apologize. If that is not done, be prepared to face the consequences."
