International Dairy Expo Set to Take Place in Chitwan's Bharatpur

The International Dairy Expo is scheduled to be held in Bharatpur, Chitwan, starting from Magh 25.

The Chitwan District Milk Producers Cooperative Union and the Chitwan Industry Association announced at a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday that the International Dairy Expo will be organized at the Chitwan Exhibition Center, Bharatpur, from Magh 25 to 29, under the theme of 'Technology in the Dairy Industry, Prosperity in the Economy'.

Kishor Bagal, Chairman of the Milk Producers Cooperative Union, Chitwan, informed that the expo is being organized with the objective of encouraging farmers involved in the commercialization of dairy products. 

He also stated that the expo will be useful in providing farmers with an opportunity to observe machinery and equipment for producing various industrial products from milk, as the country is moving towards self-sufficiency in milk production. 

The organizers stated that the five-day expo will feature over 100 stalls, including technology and equipment related to the dairy industry from Nepal, India, and other countries, as well as dairy products, veterinary medicines, animal feed, and financial institutions.

The organizers estimate that 50,000 people will visit the Dairy Expo.
