Action Film 'Paribartan' Fails to Cross NPR 5 Million Mark in First Week Box Office

Kathmandu. The action film 'Paribartan' starring actor Sushil Shrestha and actress Anjana Baraily has failed to earn even NPR 5 million in one week. According to the Nepali film box office report published by the Film Development Board on Monday, the film's earnings for one week stood at NPR 3.1 million.

The film, which was released on the 9th, collected a gross of NPR 3,109,925 at the box office until Saturday the 17th. During this period, 11,006 tickets were sold for the film. Directed by Bijay Kerung, the film carries the message that the youth must now take the lead in changing the country, protesting against the existing corruption, disorder, injustice, and tyranny in the nation.

Besides Sushil and Anjana, the film features performances by Karishma Manandhar, Buddhi Tamang, Subash Meche, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Pukar Bhattarai, Shankar Shrestha, Gautam Tiwari, Yamnath Kharel, Siru Bisht, Asha Paudel, Ayusha Karki, and others.
