CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Biplav Open to Alliance and Unity with All Communist Parties

Kathmandu. Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav', the General Secretary of CPN (Maoist), has stated that he is ready for an alliance and cooperation among all communist parties. He mentioned that he is also prepared for unity with those whose ideology, direction, program, and objectives align.

Targeting CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' who urged for unity on Wednesday, he said, 'A party unwilling to cooperate even in an electoral front, discussing unity is merely an old, useless trick that has been overused in the communist movement. Only the hopeless, those whose spirit is rotten, who have lost hope, and who have been cornered by their own history, fall for such illusions.'

He claimed that the Maoist party, which is advancing towards a socialist destination with numerous alliance experiences, is the center of unity, progress, and possibility.
