Armed Police Chief Directs Personnel to Ensure Flawless Security for Upcoming By-elections

Kathmandu. Inspector General of the Armed Police Force (APF), Raju Aryal, has directed APF personnel to be deployed for the security of the upcoming House of Representatives by-elections on Falgun 21 without any shortcomings.

While instructing officers about to take charge in various APF Nepal headquarters on Monday, IG Aryal emphasized the need to work effectively to guarantee security for the general public.

Inspector General Aryal directed them to demonstrate high professionalism and intensify election-targeted security operations, focusing on conducting the elections in a fear-free environment. He warned that commanders showing weak command or making mistakes would face immediate action, urging everyone to work with high morale.

He further stated that APF officers assigned command responsibilities would face immediate action if they engaged in misconduct while in their area of responsibility. He also instructed subordinate staff to be deployed strictly adhering to the election code of conduct to ensure the success of the elections.

Inspector General Aryal stressed that all APF personnel must be deployed with increased proactiveness in their respective areas of responsibility, in line with the organization's vision and policy. He stated that focus should be placed on how revenue leakage can be controlled effectively.

He stated that all units of the Armed Police Force Nepal must maintain financial transparency and perform their duties with zero tolerance for corruption, directing them to conduct patrols, reconnaissance, and operational activities with greater vigilance while deployed at the border.
