Fugitive arrested after 13 years

Kathmandu – A man accused of a murder that took place 13 years ago has been arrested. 
Adip Kumar Rai of Ilam had been on the run since murdering Mahesh Rai in Nayapati, Kathmandu in 2062 B.S. He was arrested on Monday and made public on Wednesday by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police. 


Mahesh was a construction worker and working in the under-construction house of Ram Krishna Pandit in Nayapati, where he was murdered. Adip escaped following the murder. He has been handed over to metropolitan police range in Boudha for necessary action, the CIB said.
