Low-Pressure System Affecting Nepal, Cloudy Skies Expected in Several Regions

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that a low-pressure system is currently influencing Nepal.

Due to this influence, it is generally cloudy across Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, along with the remaining hilly and Himalayan regions. The weather in the rest of the areas remains mainly clear.

This afternoon, there will generally be clouds in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country, and partial cloud cover in the remaining areas. 

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and in one or two places in the rest of the high hilly and Himalayan regions. Morning fog will persist in a few places in the eastern and central Terai regions.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in Sudurpashchim Province and the hilly and Himalayan regions, while the rest of the areas will remain mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
