Saudi Arabia Expresses Deep Regret Over Damage to Qatari Embassy in Ukraine Due to Shelling

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its deep regret after the State of Qatar's embassy building in Ukraine was damaged due to shelling in the capital Kiev.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the Kingdom stressed the importance of protecting members of diplomatic missions and headquarters in line with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. It also renewed the Kingdom's position, calling for a peaceful resolution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
