RSS, ANI to expand collaboration
Kathmandu, Aug 19: Discussions were held on reviewing and updating the memorandum of understanding on collaboration between the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the national news agency of Nepal and Indian prestigious news agency (ANI). The discussions were held at the RSS central office today regarding the exchange of news between the RSS and ANI. On the occasion, RSS executive chair Dharmendra Jha shared about the institutional reforms and development efforts made so far at RSS lately. He said focus has been laid on upgrading the physical structures aiming at developing the RSS library as a hub for journalists, journalism students and researchers. "Collaboration with ANI would contribute to make RSS audio visual service further tech-savvy and qualitative", Jha added. Also speaking on the occasion, ANI's executive production manager Ravi Khandelwal expressed his commitment to further consolidate the collaboration between RSS and ANI. Also present on the occasion were RSS general manager Sandeep Rai among others. Jha handed over its publication 'RSS Photo Book: 16 Years of Republic' to the executive production manager of ANI. It may be noted that a memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed between RSS and ANI in November 2017.
