Armed Police Force Recommends 77 Officers for Promotion Based on Seniority and Competence
Kathmandu – The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has recommended 77 officers for promotion to various vacant positions, prioritizing seniority, professional competence, and performance evaluation. The promotions cover roles including Senior Superintendent (6), Superintendent (22), Technical Superintendent (1), and Deputy Superintendent (48).
Promotion Criteria and Process
The APF emphasized that promotions were granted based on a combination of seniority, job performance, and professional skills, aiming to boost organizational development and morale. Deputy Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa expressed confidence that this move would strengthen the force's efficiency and motivation.

Senior Superintendents: Selected from the first batch of promoted Superintendents (second batch overall).

Superintendents: Chosen from the third batch and alternate groups, with additional consideration for performance evaluations.

Deputy Superintendents: Promoted officers belong to the ninth batch.
Application and Evaluation Process
The APF headquarters had earlier issued a notice on Ashad 32, requiring eligible candidates to submit promotion applications within 15 days, along with copies of academic certificates and other required documents. The evaluation considered both qualifications and practical experience to ensure merit-based advancements.
