Kathmandu – The Kathmandu Valley Police Office has announced that the emergency service number '100' will be temporarily unavailable for four hours on Wednesday (today). The service disruption will occur from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM due to maintenance work at the newly constructed Police Operations Center in Bhadrakali.

Alternative Contact Methods Recommended

During this temporary suspension, the public is advised to use alternative contact methods for urgent police assistance. The police have not specified the exact alternatives but are expected to provide updates through other communication channels.

Reason for Service Interruption

The maintenance work is part of ongoing upgrades to improve the emergency response system. The Kathmandu Valley Police Office apologized for any inconvenience and assured the public that normal services will resume immediately after the maintenance period.
