Nepal Exports Ghee Worth 1.5 Crore to India and Japan

Kathmandu, [Date] – At a time when Nepal's dairy industry is struggling to find adequate domestic market for its products, the country has successfully exported ghee (clarified butter) worth NPR 1.52 crore to India and Japan in the fiscal year 2081/82, according to data released by the Department of Customs.

Export Breakdown:

  • To India: 6,000 kg (worth NPR 38.4 lakh)

  • To Japan: 9,000 kg (worth NPR 1.14 crore)
