On Wednesday, lightning strikes across various districts of Bihar resulted in 20 fatalities. Despite these incidents, the state has recorded 46% below-average rainfall this season.

Since June 20, relentless downpours in Himachal Pradesh have claimed 106 lives. Cloudbursts and torrential rains have caused extensive damage, with preliminary estimates pegging losses at ₹818 crore to both public and private property.

Delhi-NCR: Flight Disruptions Amid Continuous Rain

Heavy rainfall has persisted in Delhi-NCR over the past week, with non-stop showers in the last three days. Poor weather conditions forced six flights to divert from Delhi’s airport on Wednesday.
