Four houses burned to ashes, livestock killed in fire

Khotang – Four houses were gutted in a fire that broke out Monday at Durchhim of Tuwachung Municiplity-5 in the district. 
The fire broke out from the house of Padam Raj Rai and engulfed adjoining three houses, police said. The houses of Akilraj Rai, Agamraj Rai and Gamraj Rai were gutted in the fire. 

Some goats, pigs and other live stocks among others were gutted along with the food stock, clothing and ornaments in the fire. 
According to police, property worth Rs over 15 million was destroyed in the fire. 
The municipality mayor Iwan Rai informed that they had managed temporary settlement for the victims.
