Kathmandu. The National Examination Board has urged teachers to cooperate in the examination of the answer sheets of Class 10 and the conduct and management of the Class 12 examination.

The National Examination Board has issued a notice on Wednesday, urging teachers to cooperate and participate in the examination of the answer sheets of Class 10 and the conduct and management of the Class 12 examination.

The notice signed by National Examination Board Chairman Dr. Mahashram Sharma said, 'In the current situation, both the responsibilities of examining the answer sheets to provide timely results to students who have taken the Class 10 examination and managing the conduct of the national examination at the end of Class 12 can be fulfilled only with the participation of enlightened teachers. For the achievement of quality learning of students, the professional security and academic advancement of teachers, and the opportunities and priorities of students are issues that must go hand in hand. Within these aspects, while also assimilating the sensitive aspects of the future and priorities of its obedient students, the National Examination Board once again sincerely requests the Nepal Teachers Federation, school principals and the entire teaching community to always cooperate and participate in the examination of answer sheets and the conduct and management of the Grade 12 examination as a professional responsibility.

Teachers are protesting under the leadership of the Nepal Teachers Federation, demanding the early passage of the Education Bill as an act for their professional rights and interests. The statement said, "Students who have completed their Grade 10 exams are waiting for their results for a secure future. Parents are also planning for quality education and a bright future for their children. Grade 12 students are eagerly waiting to take the national secondary education passing exam at the end of the school level. We should all be clear that this level of examination is a very sensitive and humane aspect, as the Class 12 examination, which students are waiting to receive a certificate of achievement throughout their school life, is an indicator of the investment made by parents in their children, the hard work put in by teachers in their students, and the investment made by the government. The board has also requested all students to continue preparing for the examination with patience.
