Communications Secretary Gurung assumes office

Kathmandu –New secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mahendraman Gurung, assumed office today. He was transferred to the Ministry from the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers few days ago. The government recently transferred 30 secretaries along with Gurung. 

Chiefs of Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), and Radio Nepal, among others reached the line Ministry to welcome the new secretary. On the occasion, Secretary Gurung directed the subordinate bodies to move ahead by using available modern technology and aiding by the principles of good governance. He sought continuous results in the favour of the people. ---
