NC, UML issue whip for MPs to attend HoR session on Wednesday

Kathmandu, March 4 — The ruling parties, Nepali Congress (NC) and the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) [CPN-UML], have issued a whip to their Members of Parliament (MPs) for mandatory attendance at the upcoming Parliament session scheduled for Wednesday.
Both parties have issued this whip as the government is expected to present several ordinances for approval during the session.
The Chief Whips of both parties, Shyam Ghimire from NC and Mahesh Bartaula from CPN-UML, have sent messages to their MPs, making their attendance mandatory.
Out of the six ordinances issued by the government, five (except the one related to land issues) are expected to move forward with the agreement of the ruling parties.
