Nationwide movement essential for CPN (US) to become a national party: Bhusal

Kathmandu, February 21 — General Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Ghanashyam Bhusal has stated that a national party cannot be established without a nationwide movement.

In the second meeting of the central committee, which began on Friday, Bhusal clarified in his presentation that the CPN (Unified Socialist) party is not currently in a position to generate a nationwide movement.

In the first phase, Bhusal emphasized the need to focus all efforts on making the movement national.

He expressed that within the next year, preparations should be made to establish the party’s agenda as a key part of national politics.

These agendas, according to Bhusal, should be formulated to address the fundamental strategic crisis in Nepali society and aim to make the country a nation with a dominant national capital within the next 10-12 years.
