Two police persons attacked with khukuri

Baniyani, Jhapa – A drunken youth has attacked a night patrolling police team with a khukuri at Bhadrapur of Jhapa district on Tuesday night. 

Subhash Rai, 33, of Bhadrapur-4 attacked the team with the khukuri where two police persons were critically injured. 
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Jhapa, Jitendra Kumar Basnet, said that In-charge of Maheshpur Police Post, Assistant Sub-Inspector Prakash Khawas, and a policeman Punya Prasad Pokharel were critically injured in the incident. A team from Ward Police Office,

Bhadrapur, arrested Rai from the incident site. Both the policepersons have received injuries on head and hands. 
Both the injured have been referred to Birtamod-based Band C Hospital from Mechi Zonal Hospital for further treatment.
