RPP to intensify movement against government, says Chair Lingden
Kathmandu, January 24 — The Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced that it will strengthen its struggle against the government.
The RPP central committee meeting, which began in Kathmandu on Friday, discussed various demands, and Party Chair Rajendra Lingden stated that the ongoing movement against the government will be further solidified and strengthened.
Lingden also mentioned that the meeting would focus on reviewing the government's performance, the party's future strategies, the role of the opposition, and other areas of cooperation with opposition parties.
He criticized the government, formed by large parties like Congress and UML, for failing to inspire hope among the people, creating disappointment, and causing the economy to stagnate.
He further stated that the government’s actions, such as bypassing Parliament and running the country through ordinances, are weakening democracy. This situation will also be reviewed at the meeting.
Additionally, the meeting will provide necessary instructions to accelerate the review of the party's district conventions, as stated by RPP.
The meeting is expected to conclude on Saturday.
