Gold price up by NPR 1,000 per tola
Kathmandu, January 24 — On the last trading day of the week, Friday, the price of gold has increased once again.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold has risen by 1,000 rupees per tola compared to the previous day.
According to the Federation, on Friday, the price of 22-carat gold reached 160,600 rupees per tola. This was up from 159,600 rupees per tola on Thursday.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the price of gold had been set at 160,000 rupees per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased.
On Thursday, the price of silver was 1,875 rupees per tola, which rose to 1,880 rupees per tola on Friday, according to the Federation.
