Husband jumps into Seti river after dispute with wife

Pokhara - A person disappeared after jumping into the Seti river along the Ramghat stretch at Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City on Tuesday following a dispute with his wife. 

45 – year – old Prakash Sapkota, a native of Jhapa, and working as a labourer in the area is reported missing in the river, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khadga Bahadur Khatri of District Police office, Kaski. The missing person is said to be a drunkard. 

After a dispute with his wife, Prakash took his daughter along with him under a pretext of taking a bath and suddenly jumped into the river upon reaching the riverbank. 

The daughter then started to shout and seek help. The police will continue to search for the missing person, DSP Khatri added.
