Cabinet submits five ordinances to President Paudel

Kathmandu, January 13 — The government has submitted five ordinances to President Ramchandra Paudel for approval.

This decision was made at the Cabinet meeting held on January 10, which decided to recommend these ordinances to the President.

At a press conference on Monday to announce the Cabinet's decision, Minister for Communication and Information, Prithvi Subba Gurung, stated that the "Promotion of Good Governance and Easing Public Service" ordinance seeks to amend 12 existing laws.

The ordinances include the "Improvement of the Economic and Business Environment and Investment Promotion," the first amendment to the "Working Procedure for Economic and Financial Accountability," amendments to the "Privatization Act", 2050, and revisions to "Land Act".
